PCMAINT has been continuously developed and improved since its first
release as a DOS based system in 1991. PCMAINT was completely
rewritten using the Microsoft® Visual Studio development tools in
1996 and this long history combined with the large user base makes
it a very stable and reliable system.
Typical applications of the PCMAINT CMMS are in
manufacturing, plant maintenance, vehicle maintenance, asset or
facility maintenance and spares inventory control.
The PCMAINT CMMS allows maintenance engineers to
ensure QA compliance by providing a traceable history of all
maintenance work.
The PCMAINT CMMS allows small to medium operations
to not only achieve higher yields and better operational
effectiveness of equipment through better asset management, but to
prove it with detailed maintenance reports or asset reports.
The PCMAINT CMMS provides formalised maintenance
management in an easy to implement, low cost, system.
PCMAINT has an easy to use, intuitive, Windows
interface which allows users to gain the benefits of computerised
maintenance management at floor level, without requiring specialist
computer expertise. PCMAINT can easily be used by all
maintenance staff.
There are currently two versions of the PCMAINT
CMMS available
PCMAINT Standard
is aimed at the first time CMMS user. It provides all the CMMS
functionality generally required by an organization implementing its
first system including automated scheduling of routine preventative
maintenance by both fixed calendar intervals and plant condition,
asset register, labour register, suppliers register, work procedures
and safety procedures registers and full access to all maintenance
history. Fixed and user defined reports are available.
PCMAINT Gold includes all
of the features of Standard plus a full stores/inventory control
module; electric motor register, drawing register and rotables
register. PCMAINT Gold provides all the
features generally required in a standalone CMMS and is suitable for
all but the very largest organizations. The routine maintenance scheduling modules have been very
considerably enhanced and faults and remedies registers have been
added. Tight integration between stores and maintenance is provided,
with the ability to reserve spares kits for particular
maintenance tasks.
PCMAINT Gold will benefit many industries which until now have had
to spend many tens of thousands of dollars purchasing large systems
to obtain the advanced purchasing and stock control systems offered
by this system.
